Indian summer under the gardens

Between summer and autumn there is probably my very favourite time of the year:  indian summer. There is something melancholic about the changing seasons but it is also promising. Something new comes, we are going with the flow and change our plans and our daily routine, just as well we change our wardrobe. Funny tho, because last autumn I thought I had everything I needed but now standing at my cabinet I am wondering how I could survive last autumn with so little range of clothes?! Do you know the feeling?

Getting prepared for a new season is the same mystery every year, but I am not upset about it. Actually I have joy when I am sorting my wardrobe out – remember the scene in Sex and the City? It is fun, especially with friends. I dug deep into my closet again, and have found good, old, timeless pieces, which I am glad to pull on any time. I only did a little change with the collar of this older shirt, as it was intended to be as a normal collar, but I ironed it like a standing collar. Cause I like it better like this. So there are actually only a few new items in this look I have chosen for this beautiful indian summer day: the hat and the culottes. No secret that accessories elevate a look, and wearing them on a different way as usual might make a style even more interesting. To be honest first I wanted to wear this silk scarf on one shoulder but it was always sliding down, so I tied it this way and I realised I like this much better than how I originally wanted to wear it. It even shows much nicer the pattern of the scarf. How do you like this look? Share your thoughts and don’t forget to attach a link to your indian summer style! xx
