Pink tulip skirt. These are the magic words to bring spring not only into our heart but into our wardrobe. You know my shopping habits already (read here), so you know that I am trying to style on a smart way, pulling old but loved pieces out from the bottom of my shelves. This skirt is one of those oldies that I enjoy to pull on over and over again. You might have already seen it on me last summer (check here).. For summer time or for spring it almost doesn’t matter. The question is only what to wear with it?
It is finally sunny but still pretty cold here, and I really do not like to be cold (for a Hungarian girl it is a real challenge here at the North).. And that is why I just love over the knee boots! They make validation to wearing mini skirts without compromising my temperature need. Plus they look just pretty and are the big hits of the winter season (which is officially over but until it is cold…). Actually there is only one thing you haven’t seen on me before, and those are the boots. Still this look is completely different than any other you have seen before, because of the combination of the different pieces. Just take a look back. The chunky knit (seen here) looks refreshing with the beautiful pink tulip skirt and the bag (seen here) is upgraded with some cool leather letters (my initials). By the way these leather letter stickers, or leather stickers in general are a fabulous way of upgrading anything. This bag was always one of my favourites. Without the letters it is a serious looking, very minimalistic (and a beautiful) bag. With the letters it has got a more playful look, still keeping its main characteristics. I can take off the letters or I can put even more stickers on it. There are other leather stickers available as well, not only letters but figures, it is a very creative upgrade.
Happy spring and happy Easter to all of you!
Let the Sun shine on us .. x
