From ankle booties to over-the-knees

Hello Ladies, I have superb news! It’s officially boots season and they look better than ever, so lets boot up together! From ankle booties to over-the-knees, from heels to flats, from leather to rubber the designers did a great job in terms of footwear this season. Are you curious what they do have for us? Feast your eyes on fall’s most covetable styles as seen through the lenses of SILKsofine.

This season’s range has multiple contrasts to show us: for example the masculine-feminine edge with statement soles, accents of fur, studs and the occasional burst of colour. But most of all, as always, blacks, browns and leather dominated. The coolest thing though is that whether they are sky-high or flat-footed, made for outdoor or catwalk, there’s a style to suit everyone. Your fall wardrobe is not complete until you have the perfect pair of boots, anyways so let’s get lost in this footwear paradise below.

BOOTIES – Heels vs flats

Sleek, chic and absolutely on trend. Booties are literally for everybody. Put on some flat beauties and you’re good to go all day long. Or, choose the ones with heels. Not only will it add a little height to your look, but they’ll also be comfortable enough to run around in town, while still looking super chic. Shiny or suede, Chelsea or heeled, booties are women’s fall best friends or at least one of them.

OVER-THE-KNEES – Heels vs flats

One of our favorite trends of the season is over-the-knee boots – both heels and flats. The trend made an appearance on the runway just as on the streets. If you wish to add a little drama to your plain jeans wear thigh-high boots that will make your legs look miles longer than they actually are. The cool thing about them is that you don’t need a lot to make over-the-knee boots look killer…they’ll do the work themselves.

If your style is more classic or wish to embrace the rock chic kind of aesthetics, you can’t go wrong with a great pair of riding boots or combat boots. Perfect for striding through the rain, hop on and off your bike, match your favourite piece of tailored trousers or leather pencil skirts. Oh and let’s not forget about that these versatile pieces can add a polished look to your basic jeans-tee weekday style. Opt for studded ones if you wish to make a statement.

So ladies which styles do you embrace the most? I guess I’m such a brave type and will go for a whole wardrobe of boots.
