What makes fashion photography to be good? Is it the photographer, the stylist, the model, the retouch or the budget? I assume all of it together, but above everything it is passion. Self-taught, Italy-based photographer, Diego Diaz Marin definitely has it all and not only due to his local climate or temperament.
Diego devoted his work to the high-fashion world and have already previously collaborated with fashion houses such as Roberto Cavalli, Just Cavalli or Schield and lately with Aquazzura too.
For Aquazzura’s Autumn/Winter 2013 campaign, the photographer envisioned a rather sexy story of the muse, who is most of all beautiful and eccentric. It was a very sensual and provocative shooting that came to life in a historic paradise in Florence starring Russian model, Natalia Karimova.
Due to the theme, shoes, no surprises that legs led the main role thoughout the visual diary that is played out in a striking atmosphere. Excess and reflections keep us mesmerised.
Apparently there is a lot of feminine power and energy infused in both the campaign and the shoes themselves that are the outcome of Creative Director Edgardo Osorio’s lively fantasy. He creates stylish, yet wearable footwear for women of all ages by providing them a strong, unique personal style with the ever-true-mantra on mind “for those who love to travel and have fun and are the life of the party.”
Beautiful collection and breathtaking campaign – the best formula of good fashion photography!
