Like it or not, sweater weather is unstoppable and not only in the North of Europe. In case you haven’t started yet, then it is surely time to go through of your closet and check what (you think) you need when the colder time comes. These are my fall/winter inspirations, come along.
1. Winter whites
Although white is one of my favourite colours a few years ago I could not imagine to wear for example white shoes, especially not for fall/winter. But when I look at beauties like this white bootie on the picture, I have to think twice. This pair looks anyway so perfect that probably I wouldn’t event think twice. But of course Chanel knows best.
2. Voluminous cover ups
I already wrote about my affection for fake fur in a post about the new season (read here) and I am glad to notice that this fall and winter will be about big and even bigger cover ups. However instead of continuing the “teddy effect” from last seasons lets make it white. Fits perfect with white sneakers or with those Chanel booties, remember ?????
3. Hats and more hats
This is a fairly new obsession of mine that you could have already noticed on my Instagram account (read about it here). It all started last year, when I invested in a basic black hat by Maison Michel, something like what Anna dello Russo wears on the left. That was only a test to find out how exactly our emotions are for each other, me and my hat. As time has proved our love is still hot and now my hat family is growing.
4. Investment bags
I know this requires a full post alone but now only shortly let me say: everybody needs an investment bag! A bag that is timeless, a bag that is able to elevate the most lazy outfit, a bag that one can love forever and can pass further to her children. Currently I am in Chloé fever (just like the rest of the fashion world) but there are a lot more bags that are entitled to be named as investments. I will tell about them all in full post.
In general I use only little make up, but last time when I was browsing through the make up palette in Alsterhause in Hamburg, I couldn’t say no to some bronze shades. I think light bronze is a beautiful shade and it is as close as possible to look natural with a little shine. For darker skin tones, like mine, I find it the perfect fall/winter shade.
