Winter hasn’t even started yet and we are already dreaming of tropical getaways and our tan to return. But as it’s still a long way to go until summer arrives, let me take you to a Caribbean trip and fill at least your hearts with warmth. So are you ready for a stunning digital getaway including tips and tricks in Punta Cana the Dominican Republic? Let’s start packing your bikinis and passports.
Before we rush straight in the midst of adventures, I have a confession to make. This is going to be an unusual post based on my families insights who just came back from the Dominican Republic’s painterly paradise, and yes without me. Despite the fact, while browsing through their stunning visual diary of white sand, tropical gardens, palm trees, azure beaches and skies I thought that this is something you gotta see as well. So let me share with you a few of their magical moments from Punta Cana and the Saona island. One of the most magnificent long beaches is at Punta Cana, the country’s number one resort, and more can be found in other less isolated resorts, notably on the north coast near Puerto Plata. The Saona is a tropical island located a short distance from the mainland on the south-east part of the Dominican Republic. It is being famous for the natural beauty of its beaches, and has been used on many occasions by film-makers and advertisers looking for a stereotypical ‘desert island’ setting for their film just think of the famous Bounty chocolate bar adverts. That marvellous blueness is not Photoshop and nor filters. It’s real.
These places are the best for families, lovers, water-sport addicts (yes there are great waves and rich wild-and sea life). Most visitors stay in large all-inclusive hotels just like my family did. View to the beach, pools, luxurious treatments, passion fruits, cocktails and latin tunes are the top things the guests can enjoy though out their stay. Whether you enjoy sunbathing at the beach, relaxing by the pool, rejuvenating in your hotel’s wellness section that overlooks the bay or sipping cocktails in the sea you shall check out the fun facilities too. If you are more of an adventurous type the catamaran and speed boat tours to the neighbour islands are what you should not miss. Oh, and rafting of course. And the compulsory crazy-sexy dancing session on the catamaran…And now I let the pictures speak, but before I need to ask, have you ever been there, guys and have you got any further tips what not to miss?
