When it is the right hue and the right fabric, then green is fresh still warm, outstanding still discreet, my dream colour that represents life and new start. It doesn’t matter if it’s in the form of a tiny, fresh summer breeze like the dress below or like a powerful poison doze like this bag, green is present and will stay. Viva la Verde ????.
Green will not be stocked in the summer, the popularity of the hue goes on to the upcoming season. I am pleased to find more and more products in all different kind of shades of green. My very favourite colour/fabric combination is to pair green with velvet or suede but a striking green tone looks fabulous on fake fur as well. I find the effect of the uneven surfaces of the fabrics simply perfect to reflect million shades of that one, romantic colour. Velvet is one of the most popular upcoming fabrics and suede is used in the new season even for hats (see my new season trend report here). Pure silk is also a wonderful choice for this colour. My dress on the pictures is 100% silk and the green shade looks even a bit shiny on it as the Sun touches the surface – isn’t it beautiful? Military green, mint green, poison green or whatever tone, all fifty (or more) shades of green are more than welcome to my world. How about you?
