After our special MEN EDIT Christmas shopping guide last week, I have found another inspiring place for you to shop online. If you are not yet into the Holiday season in terms of shopping, tunes, ginger cakes, sparkling lights and a range of gorgeous apparel, watching the Free People x Oh Land video will indeed get you in the mood. On the occasion of this collaboration, one of the world’s most beautiful dream-pop voices teamed up with one of my favourite brands of a kind. Get ready for a Chrismasy journey through music, clothes and a wintery love story!
But before we jump in the midst of shopping, it’s confession time first. I’m in love with Free People‘s visual content (so much as with Nanna Øland Fabricius’ voice). The whole brand and online store are about finding the line between the soul and something aesthetically divine: clothes. Free People, a specialty women’s clothing brand, is the destination for bohemian fashion that features the latest trends and vintage collections for women who live free through fashion, art, music, and travel. The brand offers a wide range of products from apparel, to accessories, intimates, outerwear, home, and beauty. And of course special edits for the Holiday season just like this music video slash look book combination starring Nanna in cosy sets. On this occasion the brand partnered with the Danish band, Oh Land to concept, produce, style, and debut the artist’s latest music video, ‘Nothing Is Over’. ‘Arriving just in time for Holiday, the video features Oh Land’s Nanna and highlights a collection of unique winter sweaters and sparkling hand-touched gowns from the brand’s latest collection. The film features Nanna as a baker in Brooklyn living out her day, but flashing back to a past love and a fight that sent them down separate paths. As she closes up shop on a cold winter’s eve, the story unveils a heart-warming holiday surprise…and guess what. Or what’s better, watch it below!
Isn’t it lovely? Are you now in the mood for a heartwarming shopping guide after watching video? Let me show you my personal picks of eight items I’d like to surprise my beloved ones (and myself) for Christmas.
