Fashion is going around in circles but sometimes I can not exactly tell where the inspiration came from, like in the case of this top and midi skirt. The plates remind me very much to the 80’s disco style (without all that glitter and shine) but the colour choice of the stripes resembles the 70’s world, do you agree?
Anyhow I have a major crash on a special brown hue, the same like the colour of my necklace that you already could see in my last LOOKbook post – except with that outfit I wore it twisted to make it short. This brown tone has a retro touch and looks wonderful on tanned skin. The skirt and the top could be a dress, except it is not ☺️. The top is around two years old already, the skirt is currently at Zara available. Anyhow they are the perfect match and what is even better, the hue of the necklace fits perfectly to the stripes. What I like about these stripes even more is that they give you the freedom to choose a wide variety of colours for the accessories. The Prada sandals I added are patent burgundy and the Marni bag is light brown with a little rose. To finish the look I pulled out probably the biggest sunglasses I have every had, thank you Stella McCartney, I love when I can go make-up free and hide behind shades that cover half of my face ☺️..
