It might be the sun that is finally shining almost every day but I suddenly feel a strong lust for vibrant tones. Just a little pop of colour like yellow or pink, just something that brightens the mood when you look at it. But how could someone like me, who usually wears pretty modest tones, brighten her wardrobe without making radical changes?

My wardrobe contains pretty modest tones, cause I kind of try to go with the rule of having not more than 3 main tones (blacks, neutrals, earthy tones) plus denim. This way you can’t go wrong with versatility and everything is just very well combinable. But these days I feel I want colours, real, strong, bright tones. And I do not want to mess up my closet and do pointless impulsive buys that I would totally regret a week later.
Pop of colours
So there are only a few options to do it smart. Either to go for high street labels and buy some pretty, vibrant clothes for a savvy price (less regrets when the momentarily craziness is over and for example ASOS has a fabulous selection!!) or to get something more expensive pop of colour – but then it must be an accessory like a bag or a pair of shoes.
I went for the latter one and I got a pretty vibrant pair of shoes in a tone that is brighter than the sun. I have never ever had yellow shoes before but after having them more than a month I still love them (yay). I already worn them not only with jeans but with striped pants and with a black dress as well so they are more versatile than one would think for first sight. And although they are a typical granny style heels, the unusual colour makes them look just cool enough. Gucci sells it 14 different colours (gosh), including red and pink as well. So dear friends, are you up to to add a pop of colour? How would you do style it?
