After a great Caribbean sun (check my looks here) a winter white landscape was waiting for me back home. Flensburg looks very pretty dressed in snow, however could be even prettier with a little bit of sun. But as this is a kind of hopeless story here, everyone needs to find a way to fight the greyness, and so I went for it. My weapon is a beautiful, white, fur coverup by Tete By Odette.
I have never done this before but I am glad I did it now: I have brought this coat home from the Caribbean. It was totally crazy first to think of getting anything in the heat for winter, but after coming home to -10 Celsius it all make sense now. My favourite store on the island Volver St. Barth has a few items from Tete by Odette and although the brand was new for me, I have learnt that they are pretty well known in Spain – even I heard that Letizia, queen of Spain is among the customers of the brand. What makes Tete by Odette so special beside of the unique style? That all the garments are handmade with traditional techniques, so every item is something original on its own. And it also means that the styles are produced only in very small amount – viva individuality! I am totally into bohemian, folk inspired designs and already have a lot of style ideas for this beautiful coat – stay tuned! A detail about this coat that I can’t give back through photographs is that on the arms and around the chest there are ini-mini tiny bells ringing softly for every move I make. A detail to love it even more.
